Mo Ehsani

Mo Ehsani, PhD, PE is Centennial Professor Emeritus of Civil Engineering at the University of Arizona, and is President and Founder of QuakeWrap, Inc. in Tucson, Arizona  He is a pioneer in the development of structural applications of FRP technology and is an internationally recognized expert on the subject.

Mo received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Michigan.  His research focused on seismic behavior of structures and innovative approaches to repairing and retrofitting civil structures using fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) materials. These studies have been published in numerous technical papers, including Earthquake Spectra and the ACI and ASCE Journals.

Prof. Ehsani is a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the American Concrete Institute (ACI). A past director of the Arizona Chapter of ACI, Prof. Ehsani has also served as President of the Structural Engineers Association of Arizona. He is a registered professional engineer in many states including Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, New York, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico. Dr. Ehsani has also been featured on CNN, National Public Radio, the History Channel, and in other media, including Engineering News Record (ENR), for his expertise on infrastructure repair and renewal
